Haviland Employees Grow Mustaches to Support Local Hospital

Haviland Pool & Spa Products, makers of ProTeam, SpaPure and Salt Support pool and water treatment products, set up an in-house challenge to raise money for cancer treatments at Mercy St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich. The inaugural competition was created by the team at Haviland; called the Havastache competition, there were 11 employees who competed to grow the perfect mustache over a 30-day period, raising pledges for donations to the hospital’s fight against cancer.
