Magic Plastics’ new “Retro” Smart Check Valve is designed to replace older Flo Control/NDS check valves in the field allowing techs to swap out valve bodies without purchasing a complete unionized valve. The Smart Check Valve’s ‘swing/spring’ design fits perfectly into the same space as all Flo Control/NDS check valves. Easily switch out and upgrade “old style” restrictive ‘center-poppet spring’ or swing check acme threaded valves. The Smart Check Valve eliminates the need to purchase the entire valve assembly and discard the union fittings. Unlike the Flo Control/NDS “Center Poppet” spring check valve that restricts flow and is prone to clogging, the Smart Check Valve boasts an innovative Swing/Spring design that merges the benefits of both mechanisms providing a superior full-flow body design and self-cleaning features.
