On June 23 at 6:00 p.m. PT, the California Pool & Spa Association (CPSA) is hosting a Virtual Town Hall on the California Drought in 2022 entitled "Where We Are, Where We're Going, and What YOU Can Do to Help Defend Our Industry."
California is under worsening drought conditions that, as we are beginning to see, if left uncontested, will lead to actions by local municipalities that will negatively affect the pool, spa and hot tub industry, as well as consumers. CPSA is actively engaged in combatting the misinformation that leads to bad legislative decisions, but this is a large-scale battle, and the Association encourages ALL of the industry to work together — armed with facts and information — to educate our local lawmakers.
The special CPSA Town Hall Meeting will discuss:
- What The CPSA is doing to represent its members
- Drought facts and information about pools, spas and hot tubs
- Resources for the pool and spa industry
- Resources for consumers
- What YOU can do at a grassroots level to help
This will be a facilitated discussion with the CPSA and PHTA Advocacy Team Members. To register for the virtual event, click here.
AQUA also recently published, "California Pool Industry Water Crisis Getting Worse," which further details the ongoing fight to save the California swimming pool industry as it grows more intense and new and more draconian actions are underway at the municipal level, some of which seek to stop the renovation of swimming pools.
