While the event aims to bring in new buyers to the brand each year, there is an added opportunity for further exposure and engagement with the company. “Homes that already have pools are still attractive to buyers,” says Kirk Sullivan, owner and president of San Juan Pools. “‘Pool’ is the number one most-searched feature on Zillow in 2024. It was the seventh most-searched feature in 2023.”
Therein lies the advantage of San Juan’s innovative fiberglass pool design, implemented since the company began in 1958. During the event, Sullivan highlighted the simplicity of their installation process and emphasized the company’s CanIBuild program, which “intends to make ordering and financing a pool seamless with San Juan.”
“We received over 40,000 visits with over 10,000 address lookups on our new CanIBuild software program,” says Sullivan. “The customer can design their backyard to scale with a pool and deck and then upload them for an instant estimate.”
Also displayed in the live event with “Fox & Friends” were San Juan’s 3D-printed sundeck loungers, shown in three different sizes. Since there is no mold involved in production, Sullivan says, they can be ordered in any size.
After five years of this segment, Sullivan still sees an advantage to showcasing the company and its pools.
“It’s about the credibility that live, nationwide television brings to the San Juan brand and the exposure to the public, telling them to build a San Juan swimming pool in their backyard. It’s all about growing the pool pie.”
