New Platinum Spas Deluxe Range Passes CEC Test

Superior Wellness is proud to announce that the company's Platinum Spas Deluxe Range — which was unveiled at the United Kingdom's pool, spa and wellness show, Spatex, on Tuesday, January 31 — is now CEC tested, which shows its commitment to being more energy efficient. The California Energy Commission (CEC) is a third-party accreditation organization recognized by the pool and hot tub industry.

"We are delighted that the new range is CEC certified," says Sales Director Gareth Ward. "The Deluxe range now includes the award-winning, energy-efficient insulation Platinum Premium Shield. This is designed by the Superior Heatlock Insulation Process, which provides a considerable difference in the hot tub's ability to retain heat, as well as a reduction in energy costs."

Five models — the Tahiti, Refresh, Happy, Palma and brand-new, all-seater Seville — in the Deluxe Range now boast premium features and upgrades. "With a brand-new look and feel, the Deluxe Range has changed to be more aesthetically pleasing, with the curvature of the acrylic," the company says. "The seats are comfortable and sculpt/shape around the body. The control panel is now located solely on one side without the distraction of other components and features. The side panels also come complete with an LED Platinum Spas logo, making the new models look more stylish."

The Range also boasts upgraded jets and diverters, which help to promote a better hydrotherapy message. "The audio system has also been improved," the company says, "with brand-new speakers, located at the top of the acrylic rather than on side panels, giving the Range a more modern look and feel."

The hot tub cover is now fabric instead of vinyl. The overall thickness of the cover has been increased, providing greater insulation and creating energy savings. The circulation pump has also been upgraded to a much quieter and more energy-efficient version, which again, shows Superior Wellness's commitment to improving the overall efficiency for its customers.

"We are very excited about the launch of this new Deluxe range," says Ward. "With the Seville in particular, all-seater hot tubs are very popular, especially in the United States. They are perfect for families and friends who want to spend time together, relaxing and enjoying the hot tub. We strive to always listen to feedback from our customers and partner network to help inform our decisions on innovation.”

The Platinum Spas brand continues to innovate every year with new models being introduced to ensure the company offers the very best in technology and design, with a wide choice to suit every budget.
