Hosted by NSPF, WAHC 2018 will be held in Charleston, S.C., October 10-12.

Aquatic specialists convene at the WAHC for professional development, to network with industry leaders and to help shape the future through aquatics. The conference features over forty seminars across several tracks, including Advanced Service Concepts, Design and Engineering, Elements of WAHC, Facility Management & Design, Improving Water & Air Quality and Increasing Fun While Reducing Risk.

Keynote speakers for this year are Eadric Bressel from Utah State University and Feras Irikat, director of design and marketing for Lunada Bay Tile. Bressel specializes in kinesiology and conducts cutting-edge research reinforcing the health benefits of aquatics. Irikat influences aquatics through his mastery of color theory and color psychology.

Pre- and post-conference events include opportunities to participate in NSPF’s Advanced Service Technician Certification, CPO Certification, Environmental Health Leader’s Symposium and the Insider’s Tour of local aquatic facilities.

Elements of WAHC will be broadcast to an additional six cities.Elements of WAHC will be broadcast to an additional six cities.New this year are WAHCity events, hosted at Great Wolf Lodge, where an additional six cities will broadcast Elements of WAHC. WAHCity participants can network with local peers and professionals and experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the hosting resort. Broadcast cities include Minneapolis, Minn.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Boston, Mass.; Los Angeles, Calif.; Dallas, Texas; and Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Elements of WAHC is a broadcast track featuring core concepts, popular topics and speakers from previous WAHC conferences, including Drowning Prevention, Improving Water and Air Quality, Preventing Biofilms, Applying Filtration Science and Facility Management.
