The Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA) announced Tuesday that Jeff Hoydis has joined NESPA as an industry trainer. Boasting 49 years of experience in the pool and spa industry, Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in service and construction.
Jeff's career began as a service technician, laying the foundation for his expertise in pool and spa maintenance. He subsequently led a pool renovation division for over two decades. Most recently, Jeff was a territory service manager and trainer with Fluidra, where he honed his training skills.
"Hands-on, in-person training has always been a cornerstone of what makes NESPA unique," shares Dominick Mondi, NESPA executive director. "Jeff offers not only his in-the-field experience and training skills to this position but also his positive energy and passion for elevating our industry."
Jeff will teach his first course, Gas Pool Heater Troubleshooting: From Diagnosis to Repair, in November. In addition to leading classes at NESPA's Training Center, he will also be holding training sessions at various locations throughout the NESPA region.
At the upcoming The Pool & Spa Show, Jeff will collaborate with a team of dedicated NESPA volunteer leaders to develop and deliver educational programs at The Training Wall.
"I am thrilled to join the NESPA team and have the opportunity to share my knowledge with both newcomers to the industry and seasoned professionals seeking to expand their skills," expresses Jeff. "I have taught at The Training Wall at The Pool & Spa Show since it began, and I am eager to be part of the planning this year."
