The Northeast Spa & Pool Association named the winners for the 2019 Outstanding Achievement Awards — Builders and Service Competition. The Outstanding Achievement — Builders Competition recognizes NESPA members whose installation of pools, spas, hot tubs and water features represent the best examples of the industry’s products. The Outstanding Achievement — Service Competition recognizes NESPA members whose quality of service and repairs is also paired with a high level of customer service.
The award winners were announced at the 2020 Pool & Spa Show Welcome Party, which had nearly 2,000 industry leaders in attendance. The awards celebration put a much-deserved spotlight on the amazing building projects and stellar service provided by members of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association. During the show, award-winners had a chance to be recognized at a VIP reception held at the NESPA Membership Suite.
Over four dozen companies submitted nearly 200 entries between the builders competition and the service competition — resulting in 102 awards being given across both competition categories.
“Celebrating our award-winning member companies in front of the largest gathering of their peers was a great way to recognize their hard work and talent,” says Mitch Katz, president of NESPA. “The caliber of construction work and service provided by this year’s winners was really second to none.”
Special recognition was given to the Judge’s Choice Best of Competition Award Winner — Drakeley Pool Company in Bethlehem, Conn. This award is presented to the company whose project received the highest overall score in the building competition. Drakeley Pool also took home the People’s Choice Award, which was voted on the show floor at The Pool & Spa Show.
Gold medal winners of the service competition include DS Pool Service (Royersford, Pa.), Integrity Pool & Spa (Lanoka Harbor, N.J.), Lipari Pools (Bridgewater, N.J.) and Swimming Pools by Jack Anthony (Patchogue, N.Y.).
