Pool & Patio Center is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026, marking four decades of providing "Outstanding, Outrageous and Unexpected Customer Service."
The company was founded in March 1986 by Kenneth and Annette Stockley, whose goal was to develop a retail store focused on delivering quality products and services. Since opening, Pool & Patio Center says it “has grown into one of the most trusted names in pools and spas, as has the Stockley name.”

As a family-run business, the tight-knit connection of working together has passed onto the entire team, creating a fantastic work environment, allowing everyone to develop their strengths in customer service and knowledge of all things pool and spa related. "Customers now know that when they step into Pool & Patio Center, their problems will be solved with the help of any member of their certified team," the company says.
Over the past 40 years, the business has expanded its offerings to include a full range of pools, hot tubs, equipment, accessories, and related services. Despite its growth, the company continues to emphasize the same customer-focused approach that helped establish its reputation in the beginning.
To mark the milestone, Pool & Patio Center plans to hold anniversary celebrations from Memorial Day weekend through 4th of July weekend to thank customers and recognize the community that has supported the business since its founding. These celebrations will be held at their store located at 475 Tiogue Avenue in Coventry, R.I.
