Reputation Beacon: A Mobile App That Tracks Online Reviews

Online reviews are an important part of any small business. But as any pool/spa pro knows, there’s so many sites to keep track of. To help make reputation management easy and efficient, a new mobile app called Reputation Beacon consolidates online reviews from Facebook, Google, HomeAdvisor, Angie’s List and the BBB into one place for easy monitoring.

The app was developed by contractors who know from experience just how time-consuming reputation management can be.

“We developed Reputation Beacon out of necessity,” says Jerri Shkavritko, co-owner of Canary Office, the developer of Reputation Beacon. “As roofing contractors, we know that reviews are the first thing that most customers look at when deciding which company to hire — but there were not enough hours in the day for us to keep on top of them. The app pulls all of the reviews from the top sites and puts them in one place.”

After users connect their accounts from review sites to Reputation Beacon, they can filter reviews by star rating or date posted. The app features push notifications and email alerts for new reviews, which allow users to quickly respond to customer concerns.

The app is currently available in the U.S. and worldwide in beta version on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
